Arthur Rondal Noyes Obituary (1918

Wheeler Funeral Home 26 Church Street Oakland, Maine 04963 207-465-3011 Oakland: Arthur R. Noyes 96, died Monday March 24, 2014 at Lakewood Continuing Care Center in Waterville. He was born in Hancock, Massachusetts on February 1, 1918, the son of Rondal and Grace (Hillman) Noyes. Arthur graduated from Williams High School Class of 1937. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Arthur worked most of his life as a Millwright carpenter for the Carpenters Local Union. As a member of the Waterville Country Club, he loved golf. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are a daughter, Judith Ann Teague of Oakland, a son Rondal Noyes of New Hampshire, 4 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM on Friday May 9 at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Civic Center Drive in Augusta.
