Brenda Diane Deady 1949-2015

AUGUSTA - Brenda Diane Deady,66, of Waterville, passed away on Monday September 14, 2015, the daughter of Thomas and Loretta (Lessard) Deady.

Brenda worked at Colby College for 31 years, where she spent her time as a server in the cafeteria. She also worked at Big Apple as a cashier for 8 years. Brenda enjoyed traveling and camping with her family and friends. Her favorite thing was to collect sea glass at the various beaches she traveled to. She collected her glass at Myrtle Beach, Rocky Point in Mexico, and the Sea of Cortez. She also loved her plants and flowers, and loved life tremendously. Her laugh and smile took her everywhere.

She is predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her sister, Linda (Deady) Veilleux of Waterville; brother Douglas Deady and Regina of Waterville; nieces Melanie Thomas-Winegardener, Jodie Cochran, Jessica Deady, and Travis Wadsworth; also all of her family in Rhode Island.

A visitation will be held on Thursday September 24, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm at Veilleux Funeral Home located at 8 Elm St. in Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 25, 2015 at 11 am at Notre Dame Church located on Silver St. in Waterville. Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove St. in Waterville.
