Chester Marshall Ward Jr. Obituary (1943

Clinton- Chester Marshall (Chuck) Ward, JR., 69 of Clinton passed away on May 6, 2013, at Togus VA Center surrounded by family and special friends of the Central Maine Bassmasters Club. He was born in Biddeford, Maine on June 8, 1943. The son of Chester M., SR. and Renata M. (Woolf) Ward. He served in the U. S. Air Force for 23 years and retired on March 1, 1984. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed many years as a member of Central Maine Bassmasters. Chuck was predeceased by his mother and father. He is survived by a son, Mark D. Ward of Clinton, two sisters, Gilda Cronin of Baring and Sharon Harrison of Herman and one brother, Leander Ward and wife Carolyn of Archer City, Texas. Chuck is also survived by many friends, extended family and a special love. He will be greatly missed and long remembered. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013, 11:00 AM at the public boat dock landing at Three Mile Pond, on Boat Launch Road, off Route 3 in Vassalboro, Maine. The service will be conducted by Chuck’s fellow Bass Club Members. Donations may be made, in Chuck’s memory, to the Central Maine Bassmasters, 531 Meadow Road, Durham, Maine 04222.
