Sidney, ME- Constance May (Cormier) Huard, 83, passed away on October 16, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born on August 11, 1932 to the late Benedict and Dorothy (Anderson) Cormier. Connie grew up in Augusta, ME where she attended Cony High School. Connie married the love of her life Ted Huard in 1964 and spent over 50 years together. Connie had four children who she loved dearly. She was a homemaker who took great pride in her family, her home, and especially her cooking. She loved dancing, gardening, her pets, and spending time with her family. Connie is predeceased by her parents; her son Bruce Chesley; her brother Carl Comier; and a special friend Emily Davenport. She is survived by her husband Ted Huard; her daughters Terry and husband Gary Wood, Robin and husband David Cummings, Heidi and her husband Kevin Martin; daughter-in-law Esther Chesley; brothers Michael Cormier and Tim Cormier; grandchildren Esther, Grant, Sarah, Ted, David, Michael, Jackson, Gunnar; and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Inland Hospital for all their care. A Memorial Service will be on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Oakland Sidney United Methodist Church, 20 West School Street, Oakland, ME where a reception will immediately follow the service.
