Cyrille Joseph James Poulin Obituary (1935 - 2015)

Winslow, ME-- Cyrille Joseph James Poulin Jr., 80 died October 11, 2015 at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, ME. He was born in Waterville, ME on May 13, 1935 the son of Cyril and Adelaide Poulin. He graduated from Waterville High School before entering the US Army. He served 5 years in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was employed by Scott Paper Company in Winslow, ME, retiring as a Pipe Fitter. Cy was an avid sports fan of the Boston Celtics, Boston Redsox, Boston Bruins, and the New England Patriots. He was formerly married to Sonja Poulin and together they had 5 children; Paula Poulin and partner Tonia Burns of Winthrop, ME, Jimmy Poulin of Waterville, ME, Sharon Frost and husband Gary of Waterville, ME, Brenda Poulin of Waterville, ME, and Angie Poulin and fiancee David Lafreniere of Albion, ME. He is also survived by sister Yvette Vigue of Waterville, ME, 2 brothers Richard Poulin and wife Joanne of Mass., and Norman Poulin of Conn., grandchildren Kelly Roderique and partner Roger Knapp, Michele Bates and fiancee Lonny Lyons, Ashley Wrigley and husband Stefan, Tabitha Poulin and partner Jake Arbour, Chauntelle Anthony, Cortney Anthony, Stacy Poulin, Michael Poulin, and Josh Poulin, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, He was predeceased by a sister Leone Wood and a brother Raymond Poulin. He was a very special dad and he will be greatly missed. The family would like to extend a special thank you and appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta-3 West for their excellent care, concern, and compassion while Cy was a patient.
