Obituary

Waterville – Edwina M. Steeves Bolduc died after a long battle with many debilitation ailments. Edwina relieved of her pain and suffering on July 6, 2013 at Mt. Saint Joesph where she resided for the past 18 months. Edwina was born on February 4, 1921 in Waterville a daughter of Ernest and Emelia Gagnon. She was a strong, determined and compassionate woman with a very strong faith that brought her through many trying times. The last few breaths of life were praying her rosary. Edwina enjoyed cooking, family gatherings and her flower and vegetable gardens. She was dedicated to her family; they were the center of her life. She raised seven children and she would say half a dozen others. Edwina was predeceased by her parents and step father Philip Mink, first husband Charles Steeves, late husband Aurele “Ricky” Bolduc, sisters Martha Pelham, Ernestine Parise, Pearl Frost, Lena Fitch, one brother Edward Gagnon. Sons Douglas Steeves, his wife Judy, Reverend Theodore Bolduc, daughter in law Lorette Steeves, grandson Jeff Fitzgerald, two very close friends Leona and Edward Smith and a dear brother in law Chico. Edwina is survived by three sons Charles Steeves Jr, Richard Steeves, John Steeves and wife Karla, two daughters Linda Levesque and husband Dave and Ann Bolduc, daughter in law Debra Bolduc, two sisters Vivian Fotter and Eva Hubert. 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Beacon Hospice for their care in seeing to her comfort at all times. We also appreciate the care from everyone at Mount St. Joseph for attentative care loving her. Special thanks to Mike whom she called Doc.
