Waterville- Elizabeth “Betty” May Frappier, 80, died on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Inland Hospital with her loving family by her side. Betty was born in Bridgeport, CT on August 22, 1932; a daughter of Albert & Isabel Crowell.

Along with being a devoted wife and mother Betty enjoyed collecting dolls, she also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and playing bingo in her spare time.

Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years George Frappier Jr. on May 18, 2012, by a daughter Helen Sokol, sister Margaret Ayers, 2 brothers Allen and Glen Crowell, a granddaughter Cheyanne Menz, and a stepson George Frappier III. She leaves behind daughters; Janet Rodrigue of Norridgewock, Eileen Wilson of Waterville, Robin Madore and husband David of Belgrade, Cherie Street and husband Tom of Glenburn, a son David Frappier of Belgrade , 15 grandchildren , 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, a special friend Lisa, along with many friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be held at Veilleux Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, January 25, from 4 to 6 with a memorial celebration to follow at the Waterville VFW on Water St. from 6 to 9 pm. Betty and her beloved husband George will be buried at a later date in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
