September 4, 2012 Cornville: Frederick David Allen 28, died unexpectedly on September 3, 2012 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born in Waterville on July 24, 1984 the son of David and Grace (Burwood) Allen. Fred attended schools at MCI, Oakland, and Skowhegan. He worked at A1 Home and Camp Services and RTD Roofing. He was an active member of the Athens Fire Department, and an honorary teacher at Kennebec Valley Community College s Respiratory Department. He had enjoyed outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling. Surviving are his parents David and Grace Allen of Cornville, a brother Nicholas Allen of Cornville, 2 nephews Nicholas Allen II of Searsport, and Leland Martin of Waterville. 2 special friends Josh Obrian of Burnham and Trevor Hanna of Oakland. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all Fred s Nurses and care givers for their wonderful help over the last several years. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM on Saturday September 8 at Wheeler Funeral Home and Cremation Services 26 Church Street Oakland. Online guest book may be signed at www.wheelerfh.com.
