May 29, 2013 Winslow: Gail Marie Mason 52, died Wednesday May 22, 2013 at Oak Grove Living Center in Waterville following a long illness. She was born in Connecticut on June 19, 1960 the daughter of Earle and Shirley (Varney) Kitchin. Gail was employed by several cleaning businesses in the Waterville area, including Four Seasons Janitorial. She has been a resident of Winslow for over 25 years where she enjoyed gardening, crafts, doing puzzles, listening to country music, and doing home repairs. She especially loved spending time with her children and grand children and her dogs. She is predeceased by her mother, Shirley Hazel Varney, sister Barbara Jean Turner, and son-in-law Robert S. Ahlgren. Gail is survived by 4 daughters, Dawn Marie Kitchin of Rutland, Vt., Tasha Lynn Ahlgren of Winslow, Jennifer Ann Coolidge of Burlington, Vt., and Katie Jean Mason of Winslow, 5 Grandchildren, Miranda Meserve, Julien James Albert Hamilton, Tabetha Joyce Ahlgren, William Larson Ahlgren, and Ryan Grant Coolidge, her father Earle Kitchen of Waterville, 3 sisters Donna Diket and Brenda Knowles of Augusta, and Debbie Fuller of Farmingdale, many nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be no public viewing hours. A celebration of Gail's life will be 11:00AM on Saturday June 29 at the New Beginings Church of God, 392 Main Street Waterville.
