Jeannette Nadeau, 90

Winslow - Jeannette A. Nadeau, 90, passed away in her sleep at Glenridge Comfort Care in Augusta on Sunday December 17, 2017. She was born on Dec. 10, 1927 in Lake Megantic, Canada, one of 12 children of Joseph & Celeda Laroche. She was predeceased by her husband, Everard, they were married on Oct., 3 1953, sharing 62 years together. They purchased a farm together in Winslow where they enjoyed spending time together. She was employed at Harris Bakery and also CF Hathaway. She loved spending time at their camp on China Lake, camping, and going to Bluegrass Music Festivals.

Jeannette is survived by her son Steven and his wife Cathy of Winslow, ME and their son Kevin of Aurora, CO; her son Gary and F Van Ormon of Winslow and their son Glen and his wife Ivy of Virginia and their son Remy who was her first great-grandson. She was predeceased by her 11 sisters and brothers.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday December 21 from 5 – 7 pm at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Waterville with the funeral service also at the funeral home on Friday December 22 at 11:00 am.
