Jeannine Estes Obituary (1936

Jeannine M. Estes, 81 Waterville – Jeannine Mary Gauthier Estes, 81, went home to be with her Lord on August 29, 2018. Jeannine resided in Waterville at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for the last seven years. She was born on November 27, 1936 in Waterville to Janette and Lionel Gauthier. Jeannine grew up in the Waterville area and married Duane Estes on November 9, 1956. Together they had two children born in Maine and after travelling out of state they settled in Kentucky and had four more children. They eventually moved back to Maine where they made China their home until Duane’s passing in 2000. Jeannine was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Jeannine was predeceased by her parents, husband and only sibling, Bernard Gauthier and daughter-in-law, Denise Estes. She is survived by her oldest son, Chris Estes and his wife Tina of South China; daughter Rebecca Bragg of Freedom; daughter Lisa Estes of Chelsea; son Shawn Estes and his significant other Aimie Thomas of South China; son Shannon Estes and his wife Noel of Waterville; son Michael Estes of South China; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mount St. Joseph and Beacon Hospice in Waterville for their care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 112 Silver Street, Waterville followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, 88 Grove Street, Waterville.
