“JB” Jerome P. Boucher, 81, went to be with the Lord after a brief illness at CMMC on October 4, 2011.
He was born in Waterville, ME on February 11, 1930. A son of the late Arthur and Rosanna (Letourneau) Boucher. JB went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corp as a Corporal from 1948 to 1952. He worked for many years at the Waterville VFW until his retirement. JB was a member of the Waterville VFW, Waterville American Legion and the Waterville ELKS. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and was very devoted to them.
He was predec eased by his beloved wife Theresa (Ouellette) Boucher of 37 years in 2009; as well as his seven siblings; Viateur “Vic”, Emilien, Gerard and George Boucher, Lucienne Cloutier, Gertrude Vashon and Theresa Chizy and a daughter Ann Marie Phillips.
He is survived by his daughter Mona Harlow and husband Steve, a son in-law Rudy Phillips, grandsons; Jay Pelletier and fiancé Heather, Steven “Punk” Pelletier, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame Catholic Church on Silver St. in Waterville on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11 am. Committal will be at Maine Veterans Cemetery on Civic Center Dr. in Augusta on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 2 pm with military honors. Those wishing to send memorial donations in lieu of flowers may do so to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association PO BOX 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011
