Waterville - Sherry Rancourt, 62, passed away unexpectedly April 22nd, 2024, at Eastern Maine Medical Center surrounded by family. She was born July 14th, 1961, the daughter of Francis and Regina (Quirion) Rancourt. Sherry worked numerous jobs throughout her life; New Balance, Morning Sentinel, Harris Bakery, Huhtamaki, and the Exchange Hotel where she often helped her grandfather. Sherry loved her family; she would do anything for them, especially her kids and grandkids. Growing up she adored her parents, and especially her grandfather, spending many days together with him. Her favorite local places to visit were Goodwill, Mardens, Cumberland Farms, Pleasant Point, Hermit Island, and the Park in Clinton where she often had coffee with Jeff, stopping into Dairy Queen for an ice cream. She loved dancing, traveling, road trips, gardening, crystals and Buddha. When she was younger, she loved living in California, and her childhood pet monkey Jackie and her childhood dog Snowball. Sherry is predeceased by her grandparents, her parents, and her sister Jean Anne Rancourt. She is survived by her children, Halona, Louann, and Jeffrey Rancourt; her brothers, Reginald and Bernard Rancourt; sister Betty McCaslin; sons-in-law, Peter Stanton Jr, and Christopher Morris; grandchildren, MaryJane Dupee, Camilla Dupee, Zaileigh Stanton, Felicity Stanton, ad Adelaide Stanton; grand fur babies, Izzie, Tofu, and Katsumi; great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews; many cousins, special cousins Jerry and little Jimmy Pomeleau; and many friends. There will be visiting hours May 7th from 12-2pm at Veilleux Funeral Home 8 Elm Street, Waterville, Maine. Burial will take place May 8th at 1pm at St. Franics cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Veilleux and Redington Funeral Home 8 Elm St, Waterville, where condolences, memories, and photos may be shared with the family on the obituary page of the website at www.veilleuxfuneralhome.com.
