Stanley C. Hunt Jr. Obituary (1931 - 2015)

FAIRFIELD, ME—Stanley C. Hunt Jr., 83, of Fairfield, ME passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015, in Waterville, ME with his loving family surrounding him. He was born in Gardiner, ME on December 30, 1931, the son of the late Stanley and Christine (Robbins) Hunt Sr. Stanley was employed as a custodian by the State of Maine, until he retired on April 8, 1996. He enjoyed fairs, going out to camp, old cowboy music, old movies, and spending time with family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Payson Hunt. Stanley will be deeply missed by his wife of 21 years, Florence (Cole) Hunt; three stepdaughters, Susan Irving and her partner, Jim of Oakland, ME, Sandra Bickford and her partner, Peter of Fairfield, ME, and Sharon Gervais of Gardiner, ME; his stepson, Raymond Cole of Fairfield, ME; his sister-in-law, Janice Hunt of Farmingdale, ME; three nieces, six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and his good friends that he liked to hang out with, Pedro and Rick. There will be no funeral services per Stanley’s wishes. Burial will be at a later date.
