Virginia Elizabeth (Robinson) Bickford Obituary (1926 - 2018)

FAIRFIELD, ME—Virginia Elizabeth (Robinson) Bickford, 91, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018, following a long illness. She was born in Oakland, ME on November 15, 1926, to Marshall and Helen Robinson of Rome. She was predeceased by her parents, Marshall and Helen; a sister, Beulah Dipietro also of Rome, ME; her husband, Maurice E. Bickford of Fairfield, ME; a son, Gene A. Bickford of Oakland, ME; a daughter, Marsha L. Hale from Winslow, ME; a daughter, Sandra L, Constable, and a grandson, Bradley Constable of Skowhegan, ME. She is survived by a daughter, Gail E. Laskey, and a son, Duane M. Bickford and wife, Lynn of Fairfield, ME; a daughter, Valerie L. Caron of Benton, ME; a sister, Frances M. Furbush and her husband, Lawrence of Oakland, ME; a brother, Leroy D. Robinson and his wife, Gerry of Winthrop, ME; and a very dear cousin, Dot Drury of Rome, ME. Virginia's family would like to sincerely thank the staff on 1-West at MGMC, Dr. Henry Colt and his staff, her home nurse, Judy Marshall, all of her home care workers, and the first responders from Fairfield Rescue.
