William Murray Lawler Jr. Obituary (1964

Waterville: William Murray Lawler Jr. 50 died peacefully Wednesday August 20, 2014 at his Waterville home. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on May 30, 1964 the son of William Murray Lawler Sr, and Joan (Guest) Lawler. Bill was a graduate of Temple Academy in Waterville and served 4 years with the United States Marine Corps. William was employed by Huhtamaki from 1994 until 2006. He then worked at Thomas College from 2006 until his death. Bill always enjoyed the many friends he made at his work. Bill loved people and people loved him. He enjoyed playing golf, ice fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a very hard worker but also enjoyed his free time, always finding ways to make people laugh. Bill spent many happy hours attending all the sporting events, games and tournaments of his children Surviving is his wife Lori (Rosati) Lawler of Waterville, his mother Joan Lawler of Albion, sons, Shane of Leadville, Co., Justin of Winslow, Travis of Oakland, and Brandon of Waterville, Sisters, Robin Rice of Oakland, and Grace Kolreg of Albion , grandchildren Kyle Platt of Arizona and Chase Lawler of Winslow , step children Jennifer McCaslin of Belgrade , John Sheehan of Oakland and Jason Sheehan of Waterville , step-grandchildren Maggie Quirion of Belgrade , Travis Sheehan of Benton, Joey Quirion of Belgrade , Alex Sheehan of Waterville, Jaxon Sheehan of Waterville, and Jacolby Sheehan of Waterville. He was predeceased by his father William Lawler Sr., and a daughter Kristin Lawler Friends are invited to visit 6-9 PM on Saturday August 23 at the Lighthouse Ministry Center High Street Oakland where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday August 24, burial will follow at the Lewis Cemetery in Oakland.
